Rubaba Daula to oversee BCB women’s cricket

Rubaba Daula will oversee the women’s division of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The only female director of the BCB has been given the responsibility of this department. The BCB said in a press release today.

Women’s Division, HP, Grounds Committee – The BCB has made changes in three departments at once today. After the changes, Rubaba has replaced Abdur Razzak in the women’s division. Razzak will now serve as the vice chairman of the women’s division. Former Bangladesh left-arm spinner has been made the head of the High Performance Unit (HP). Razzak has replaced Khaled Masud Pilot. Pilot has now been made the chairman of the Grounds Committee. BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul himself was in charge of this department until now.

Razzak will work as BCB’s team director for the series against Ireland. The BCB has appointed Mohammad Ashraful as a specialist batting coach for this series. The second Test of the series will start in Mirpur tomorrow. Mushfiqur Rahim will be the first cricketer in Bangladesh’s history to play his 100th Test with this match.

The BCB will organize many things for Mushfiqur’s 100th Test, the BCB said in a press release today. After the Bangladesh-Ireland Test series, the two teams will play a three-match T20 series. The first two T20s will be held on November 27 and 29 at the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chittagong. The second T20 will be held in Mirpur on December 2. The BCB also announced the names of three vice-captains in the three editions today.
